Through form stability and an extremely low center of gravity the CY 9.5 carries an exceptional 66 square meters of sail upwind and 136 square meters downwind.
The Deck layout of the CY 9.5 and the large cockpit area allow a full race crew (6-8) to maneuver easily while the addition of water ballast allows short-handed racing (4) and comfortable cruising (2-6).
